Magnificent Valentine's Day Dinner - faultless! - Just home from yet another wonderful visit to Divine Peak with my husband. We enjoyed a brilliant Valentine's Day dinner of beetroot and goats cheese amouse bouche with a glass... read more of rose prosecco then some breads with assorted butter abd spreads. Our starter of seared scallops and cauliflour puree followed then vibe tomato soup with bruschetta abd creamed cheese...all this was absolutely delicious accompanied by very reasonably priced dry white wine from the extensive selection. We were then served our main, both chose geef tenderloin with mushroom sauce and vegetables. Other choices were duck breast or seafood risotto. Ours were unbelievably tasty and cooked to perfection. Our dessert was pana cotta with strawberries and champagne sauce, superb ending to the most wonderful meal. Our two ladies waiting on our table were the utmost professionals, clearly trained in fine dining service and customer care. A great experience tonight which we would highly recommend. Thank you to all front of house and behind the scenes, we will be back soon. Five star in every way!!

New Years Eve dinner - It is quite difficult to judge if 4 or 5 stars are appropriate for our New Year Eve dinner at the Divine Peak Restaurant. Let me start by writing that... read more in the end I decided for 5 stars because of the price/value-ratio. For what we got, the 60.- € p.P. were very reasonable!
It was a fixed menu with 3 choices for main course. I had the Tournedos Rossini with Madeira/Truffle Sauce served with a slice of Foie Gras on Toasted Brioche and Fresh Vegetable, my wife did go for the Slow Cooked Breast of Duck with Forrest Fruits Sauce, Fresh Vegetables and Hasselback Potatoes. The third choice was salmon that look equally well presented on the plates we saw.
The menu consisted of:
Ceviche Prawns Roulade with Micro Greens, Lime Vinaigrette and Thousand Island Espuma
Fresh Broccoli and Stilton Cheese Soup with Apple Croutons and Sesame Grissini
Mushroom Arancini with Roasted Salsa and Spinach Crumble
Lemon Sorbet with Fresh Mint
main course (as written above: filet and duck for us)
Lava Cake with Fruits and Vanilla Icecream
Coffee of choice with some cookies
I have to say that the presentation was without fail (see pictures)! The only disappointment was that the first three courses lacked something. They were good, no question, but none of them had the 'special something', the 'surprising taste' - they were good but nothing special. No sensation for the taste buds. The taste couldn´t keep up with the presentation, if you know what I mean.
The main courses were excellent. My filet was prepared to the point, the duck was very good, the sauces innovative - only the veggies could have used a minute more. They were just shown the hot water in passing... 😉
The highlight was the lava cake! Absolutley perfect and maybe the best lava cake I ever ate!
At any restaurant I would have been less critical, but since the DIVINE PEAK strifes to be one of the top restaurants in Paphos I must say: you are absolutely on the right track, but you need to improve and go a step further!
But that should not be seen as a complaint. It is more a push in the right direction (in which this restaurant is already going)!

Right from booking through to enjoying the experience, Divine Peak had it right from the start. I a place where competition is so fierce it is important to have something... read more that people want and keep coming back for. The location, the staff and the food were all of a very high standard and the value for us was somewhat too good to be true. Genuinely very very pleased with our visit and the treatment and service received.

My Partner and I came here for dinner on our last evening in Paphos, having read the generally excellent reviews, and as it was in close proximity to where we... read more were staying.
We were made to very extremely welcome from the moment we arrived, and the service was faultless throughout the evening. Each member of staff was courteous and attentive.
We each had 3 courses, plus a bread course at the start. We were both really impressed by the quality of the food, and the accompanying wine was really nice too. Pleasantly surprised by the very fair price at the end of the evening, I was very happy to put my money down after a great night.
The restaurant is very clean and well decorated, and the location is wonderful, offering a great view of the evening skyline.
I would heartily recommend this as a special dinner experience for couples staying in Paphos.

Based on the 5th / top floor of an apartment block. Entrance from the back of the building via a lift.
Beautiful interior of wood, white tan cloths. Opted... read more to sit outside- beautiful view of the sunset.
Had the negroni and Hugo- both good.
Start of mushroom saganaki was average. The calamari verde was good.
Mains- took some time btw starters and mains. So long pause. The purple octopus was ok- tasted a bit odd due to the marination to give it the purple colour. The pork belly was excellent.
The ricotta and pistachio cake was amazing excellent.
Waitering was mixed- we have a waiter with the bald head- funny, nice and warm. The other guy looked so serious made the whole ordering process uncomfortable.

Whilst staying in Paphos and exhausting all our hotels restaurants, we decided to book here on the basis of the good reviews. So glad we did, we all had a... read more fabulous meal and it was much easier on the pocket than any of our hotels’ restaurants.
The service was excellent - our waiter was friendly and attentive and explained everything on the menu and gave good recommendations.
I had the chicken liver parfait to start - absolutely delicious! Then for main course I had the mushroom tortellini - would not normally order something like this but so glad I did! My husband had the calamari starter and said it was the best he had had whilst in Paphos, followed by the beef Ragu which was equally as delicious. The kids both enjoyed their Risotto and pork belly dishes too! For dessert we couldn’t decide which pudding to have so shared the lava cake and the lemon tart! Both amazing but lava cake won it for me! My husband had the cheese board which he enjoyed although would have liked to see some blue cheese on there.
It really surprised me how quiet it was to say how fabulous the food was, a shame really as it deserves to be packed out.
My friends are staying next week and I have already recommended they try this place.
